CRISTINA COMSTOCK

Cristina Comstock is the founding President of the Asian Real Estate Association of America (AREAA) Greater Jacksonville Chapter in Northeast Florida and VP for the FilAm Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce. Cristina loves volunteering her time to the community and served as a Director of the National Federation of Filipino American Associations (NAFFAA) and was a member of the Fil-Am Council while serving as President of the Cavite Assn of Florida, Inc. She served as a Commissioner and Board of Director to Jacksonville's Human Rights Commission for two terms. A Realtor since 1986, she received several awards for productions and sales. To expand her knowledge in the real estate profession, she served in NAR's Diversity Council, NEFAR's Legislative Committee and was chairman of the Global Business Council. A boating and golf enthusiast, she was a Director of Jacksonville Area Golf Association and Executive Secretary to the Boating Industry Association of the Philippines and participated as a boat racer to the RP-Japan powerboat races. Internationally, she was ASEAN delegate to the 5th European Business Council and visited 12 European countries, Australian delegate for the Center for International Trade Expositions & Missions as well as delegate to the Philippine-China sister cities mission held in Taiwan and mainland China.
Cristina's career touched almost every type of organization to start with her family business of more than 65 years where she is part owner and director of The Boat Shop Philippines, a boat building company. She was co-owner and broker of a real estate marketing company, Active Property Development and Sales Inc., and managed several thousand real estate agents and managers in the Philippines selling high-end real estate properties, condominiums, retail and commercial properties as well as golf shares. She moved to the USA in 1999 and was involved in various corporations before finally going back to real estate. To summarize, she was Contract Manager for LSF Health Services, Program Operations Administrator for the Department of Children and Families and Vice President for Marketing for Citigroup.
